This month commemorates 115 years since the nine, trailblazing women at Howard University would go on to create a global, history making organization of over 325,000 high-achieving women committed to sisterhood and service in over eleven countries. This January, it’s time to celebrate all this Alpha Kappa Alpha Excellence!

The most talented cohort of women in the world have committed themselves to the illustrious sisterhood of Alpha Kappa Alpha from Vice Presidents, to award winning authors, to pioneers of science and the arts. The women of Alpha Kappa Alpha are leaders who are present and accounted for in every field.
Celebrate 115 Years of Service! Service has long been the foundation of Alpha Kappa Alpha as AKAs have led countless service initiatives on a local, state, and global scale to empower the community whilst strengthening the sisterhood. Through partnering with organizations, AKAs have supported the educational advancement of the next generation by supporting HBCUs, providing services through initiatives like Breast Cancer Awareness, and creating programs to assist with financial planning to build generational wealth.
Celebrate 115 Years of Sisterhood! The distinguished women of AKA have been uplifting one another for over a century and solidified a legacy of sisterhood for generations to come. Whether it’s cheering a sister on, providing a listening ear, or lending a hand in a time of need, the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha always help each other!
